There is of course so much hurt and damage being done around the world right now, coordinated by such a small group of dangerously wealthy individuals.

I’ve recently forced myself to give up doomscrolling, try to focus on building communities with people around me, and try to reduce the amount of my life that can be controlled by others.

Then I read this quote today, that felt like it really hit the spot:
